I was born in the Midwest, on the coast of Lake Erie.  At a young age we moved to the Jersey shore and that’s where I fell in love with the ocean.  I’ve always had some kind of art or craft in my life, and I’ve always been creative, getting inspiration from nature, the coast and sometimes, just color itself.  I adore the transition of seasons, and the color that each time brings.  How pretty and welcoming are the pastels of spring, the bright colors in my summer gardens, the orange, golds, and reds of autumn, and who can forget the reds and greens of the holiday season!  

The colors of the ocean mesmerize me and are my favorite – you’ll find that evident in many of my paintings.
